How can you avoid making a fool of yourself on your first date?
Imagine going on a date with a sexy girl, or the 'tall, dark and handsome' guy and ruining it by doing something silly. You would regret spoiling such a 'oh, so perfect' date. If you do not wish to repeat your mistakes, these unwritten rules could come in handy.
Learn to hide: Okay, so you like him/her. Your date is sexy, smart and you are completely in awe of him/her. But do you have to show it? Constant stare or unwanted praises might just make the person uncomfortable. Shout, scream and flaunt that wide smile once you are done with the date.
Past is dead: Do not talk about your earlier dates, good or bad. Also, do not narrate the sad/happy stories of your exes.
Don't get sloshed: You do not wish to get high and regret all that you have said and done later. The worst would be to throw up on your first date.
Eat right: It's not a good idea to order something that you wouldn't be comfortable eating. Things could get quite messy if you order noodles or pizzas.
Talk about sex: Sex could be on your mind. Do not opt for it on your first date. For many, it could have clicked on the first date but it's not an all-time hit formula.
Busy with your phone: Your friends are excited about knowing how your date is going. But this is not the time to reply to all the urgent messages. Keep your phone away and in silent mode and concentrate on impressing your date.
Too cute and lovey-dovey: Don't get too cute and mushy on your first date. Not just guys but even girls hate it.
Meet my parents: You like him and have fallen in love with the Mr. Perfect, and feel like taking him home. Don't you dare share this with him. He will surely run away. Talking about marriage and future kids is crime.
'I'm a great kisser': Alright, you have the experience. You have received many compliments about being a great kisser. But let him/her experience it too. Do not say it yourself.
